A momentous three-day strategic TJCII Gathering in Jerusalem was held at Christ Church with 100 participants representing many nations. Messianic, Catholic, Protestant, and Arab believers discussed many themes, including the centrality of Jerusalem, the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, the sin and separation of the Christian Church from Jewish believers, and practical ways of standing with Israel and Messianic believers. Participants sensed the importance of this gathering as a necessary precursor to the upcoming Leadership Summit planned for October 2026.

There were tender times of reconciliation between Arab Christians and Messianic Jews, particularly in the aftermath of the October 7th events. The Holy Spirit moved mightily in these meetings, as several speakers presented information that enlightened all about the errors of the early Church, as well as current conflicts, and how we humbly move forward to unify the different streams of the body of Messiah.

The final day, October 23rd, began with the participants navigating being locked out of their meeting place in the Old City due to security measures enacted for U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance’s visit to the nearby Church of the Holy Sepulcher. It took some creative maneuvering through the Muslim and Armenian Quarters, back alleys, and even a resident’s garden, to reach our meeting place at Christ Church. Our final day of meetings concluded with a deeply meaningful time of worship, intercession, teaching, and sharing.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support,
Marty Waldman
Executive General Secretary, TJCII
