A Diplomatic TJCII trip to Brazil in August focused on interdenominational meetings hosted in Curitiba at two YWAM bases and the Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary. Participants from the Catholic church, several Protestant and Evangelical denominations, one or more messianic congregarions were present. YWAM missionary Robson Pio was responsible for organizing the itinerary and has spent the past year in sharing the vision of the one new man in churches across Brazil.
The focus of teaching was on the general vision of TJCII, rising antisemitism, and biblical zionism. The latter two subjects were sensitive to say the least as controversy related to the Israel-Palestine conflict and different nations’ political stance has divided the church in Brazil.

David Dawson with Srs. Adola and Nechama.
The Encristus conference in Sorocaba had a strong participation from TJCII. Two of the main presenters were TJCII representatives, myself included. I taught on the same subjects mentioned above. A powerful moment was when I went forward to recieve the priest’s blessing at a mass held during the conferencde. To my surprise, my presence deeply moved the catholic brothers and sisters, many of whom began to weep profoundly. I was thanked from the altar for my presence and invited to pray a blessing over the priest. Wide open doors exist for TJCII to participate in other Catholic-Protestant reconciliation movements in Brazil.
Finally, the CONPLEI conference in Porto Velho for indigenous Evangelical pastors and leaders received the vision of TJCII through the decades long advocacy of sisters Adola and Nechama of the Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary. The sisters should be honored for having organized the itinerary in Sorocaba and Porto Velho. I was able to speak to several key leaders about the significance of TJCII for indigenous churches and the phenomena of openess to Jewish restoration in the body of Messiah Yeshua by the indigenous churches.
Thank you for your prayers as myself and others plan to continue investing in promoting the vision of TJCII in the extremely strategic nation of Brazil, one of the leading nations of the Global South which increasinly represents the center of worldwide Christian leadership and vitality.
Blessings,
David Dawson
