Greetings From the New French TJCII National Committee

September 17th, 2026 | TJCII Blog

Greetings everyone, after years of dormancy, a TJC2 France committee was reformed in the spring of 2026. It is composed of people coming from various church backgrounds, not as official representatives of their churches or movements, but as embodying the pluriformity of the body of the Messiah. The French committee consists of, in alphabetical order: Marc Blancou, Messianic Jewish teacher Thierry and Astrid Geyer, Lutheran pastors Roger and Maud Maatje (Roger is an Anglican priest) Mario Saint-Pierre, Catholic priest Joël Trefcon, Evangelical pastor. Our first action was to reflect on the vision of TJC2 through the creation of a flyer presenting the movement. This allowed us to clarify the spiritual issues surrounding reconciliation and the welcoming of Jewish believers into the body of Christ. We also reiterated that the framework of TJC2 concerns the coming together of Jewish believers and the nations within the Church itself, and that this does not directly concern dialogue with the Jewish community – a dialogue in which each member is engaged in their own way. We have also set up a small intercession group that we want to experience as a family. In this context, we were able to begin experiencing identificational prayer. In addition, several members met during the Messianic Hope session at the Gagnières Christian Center, and our relationships have grown in depth and quality. We see our commitment as long-term. Initially, our goals are to better understand the TJC2 movement, its history, and its scope – Paula Leitner is providing invaluable help with this – but also to connect with the movement in its international dimension. To this end, several members of the French committee will participate in the international TJC2 gathering in Jerusalem in October of this year. We therefore hope that those reading this news will not hesitate to come to us and get to know us during this conference. We ask you to uphold in prayer, like midwives, the renewal of the French committee. Pray for each of its members and especially that we may have an understanding of our mandate enlightened by the Holy Spirit.
Shalom in Yeshua,
Marc Blancou
